Sales reports are a record of sales activity over a particular period of time. These reports detail what sales representatives have been up to, reveal whether the team is on track to meet its targets, and alert management to any potential issues.
The Teesom Sales Report will allow you to filter by any combination of various factors, such as:
Customer
Customer Industry
Pricing Tiers
Sales Reps
Marketing Efforts
Customer Groups
and Date Range
To access the Sales Reports, go to the “Main Menu” ->”Reports” -> “Sales Report“
Click on the Submit button to apply the default filters, or adjust the filter options and hit Submit.
Using Sales Report Information
Here are a few ways you can use the Sales Report information:
ROI on Marketing Effort
In the example below a filter by Social Media Marketing effort was applied. The date range is for the entire year. If we only generated $1434.08 in sales for the year we may want to re-evaluate our social media program. If we paid, let’s say, $300 for advertising on social media the entire year, then our return on investment is quite low. If we use [(Profit – Investment) / Investment] *100 = ROI to calculate our ROI, that would look like this: ($383 – $300)/$300 * 100 = -27.67%
Top Buyers at the End of the Year
At the end of the year its a good idea to find out 1) who your top buyers are and 2) who your most profitable buyers are. Export your “This Year” Sales Report and use Excel to sort by top sales and then by top profitable sales, to see your top buyers and most profitable sales
Manage Sales Reps Monthly Goals
Print your sales report, by Sales Rep, to keep all sales reps on target with goals that they set for themselves.
You can Print or Export information, using the buttons in the upper right hand corner. The Export function will export your report to a .CSV file which when double clicked will open in your default program for that file extension.
