Many of our users must submit some time of Sales Tax information to a local or State agency. Teesom makes this process very easy for you by generating a report that identifies the Sales Tax that you have collected from your customers over a period of time.
Generate A Sales Tax Report
To generate a Sales Tax Report, go to the “Main Menu” -> “Reports” -> “Sales Tax Report“
When you are at the Sales Tax Report screen, before hitting submit you can filter by any of the fields at the top. It will be blank until you hit Submit.
Whatever Sales Tax rates you created in the Company Setup will appear in the Sales Tax filter option.
It is recommended, that if you are not using a specific tax rate, to delete it out of the Sales Tax area in the Company Setup, so as to not cause confusion.
In the below example I am filtering by all (Detailed) and the Order Status by Completed and Shipped/Pickup, after clicking “Submit” a list of all my completed orders with their tax codes, and different totals for taxable and non-taxable items on that order, as well as the total tax amount will appear
