Teesom’s Production Circles

Teesom uses progress circles on the Job Board and the WIP/Invoice to indicate the overall status of various external factors which will affect the production process or schedule.

For example: you cannot proceed to production until all the artwork is completed and approved, or until all the goods have been received, whether purchased or customer supplied.

Goods and Artwork Progress Indicators

Art Circle

The “Art” circle indicates what stage the artwork for the order is on:

  • Green: All the artwork is complete and approved – we are ready to proceed!
  • Blue: Action is required by you. Complete the required info for the artwork (Images, Colors, Measurements) and send it to the customer for approval.
  • Purple: Action is required by the customer. For example: they have not yet approved the artwork.
  • Red: Urgent action is required to meet the production due date.

You can click on the circle to bring up a list of all the artwork on the order and then interact and update those details on the fly:

  1. Click on the artwork design number to go to the edit page for that artwork and complete any missing info.
  2. Quickly update the stage of the artwork.
  3. Check the status of the artwork.

Goods Ordered Circle

The “Goods ordered” circle is for keeping track of all the goods that need to be ordered and those that have already been ordered. The colors indicate what stage you are on.

  • Green: All goods have been ordered.
  • Blue: Not All Goods are ordered. You may still need to send the PO or mark it as sent.
  • Purple: Supplier needs to confirm the PO or if goods have already come in you need to ‘Receive goods’ on the PO.
  • Red: Goods need to be ordered / acquired soon to meet production date.

You can click on the goods ordered circle to view:

  1. Order Detail: A quick view of all the jobs in the order, the associated goods needed, and how many of those goods are actually received thus far.
  2. Purchase Orders: View the POs associated with that order.
  3. Customer Goods: View any customer goods on the order.

Goods In Circle

The “Goods In” circle allows you to keep track of what goods have been received and what goods are still not delivered. This circle of course relies on the goods having been ordered.

  • Green: All goods have been received.
  • Purple: Not all goods have been checked in.
  • Blue: Supplier has not yet delivered the goods or you still need to receive the goods via the PO.
  • Red: Action is required by you to check in the goods.

Clicking on the goods in circle will bring up the “Goods Overview” screen where you can view which goods have been checked in and which goods have not. You can also view the POs for the order and the customer goods.
