Using Google Sites for Your Terms and Conditions Doc

First and foremost, all good business owners have a Terms and Conditions document! https://sites.google.com/view/termsnconditions/home

Use the above link to go to the Google Site that was created for a sample Terms and Conditions document. You can then copy and paste into Word to customize your own.

Creating a Google Site for your Terms and Conditions Document is not only super easy (done in 15 minutes!) but best of all, it’s free!

Head over to : https://gsuite.google.com/products/sites/ and see how easy this is!

Below is where I started, click on the + sign next to the purple arrow.

You can use all the controls to the right to customize colors, layout, fonts, etc. I just literally, typed my Title Page in and pasted my text that was already formatted in Word.

Below is my templated document, you can do a find and replace in Word to change YOUR COMPANY NAME, to ABC Company, for example. Then fill in all the blanks that represent dollar amounts for fees or day amounts.

The entire document was selected and pasted into the body of the website.

You can create your own URL, but why? The most anyone is going to do is click on your link. However, Google does provide instructions for using your own domain. As you can see in the image below your URL will be https://sites.google.com/view/______________________; you just need to fill in the blank. TermsandConditions was taken so TermsnConditions was used. You may want to use ABCCompany (your company name) + TermsandConditions.

Below is a quick glimpse into customizing your URL. I got here by clicking on MANAGE, where the Custom URL info was in the above image.

The below image is what I got when I clicked on MANAGE below “Who can View my Site”. Again, I didn’t feel any of this was important, but you may.

When ready, click the Publish button, and Voila! You have a website with your Terms And Conditions document.

The down arrow next to the Publish button will allow you to Edit your page, View the Published page or Unpublish it.

You can now copy your URL and head to Teesom so that we can add the link to your Terms and Conditions setup. The pencil icon in the lower right hand corner allows you to Edit your site.

In Teesom, go to the Main Menu>Settings>Company Setup and from the Setup tab, click to expand the Order Entry. Scroll to where you see the Terms and Conditions boxes (there are 3), as you see below. You will have to add a bit of Html code.

<a href=’https://sites.google.com/view/termsnconditions/home’>Click Here</a>

It is important to use a ‘single quote’ around the website address here and NOT a “double-quote”

In the above line you will replace my web link with yours, and then if you want the Click Here to say something different then make that say whatever you want it to say. Once you have your html code line copy it and paste it wherever you want in the Terms and Conditions boxes as you see below.

To get a feel for what that looks like when your customer now sees it, go ahead and email a quote off to yourself.

Now click on the View Quote Button and click on the Submit Order option.

When they click on the Click Here, it will take them to your new website with your Terms and Conditions document!
