Create A Vinyl Product
In this article we will go over how to create a vinyl product for use on an order, you only need this if you are going to be putting vinyl onto something that isn’t part of an existing catalog, for example a sign, car, etc.
Create A Vinyl Product
Add the item to your ‘Own Products’ page:
- Go to the “Main Menu” -> “Pricing & Product Settings“.
- Click on “Own Products“.
On the “Own Products” screen:
- Click on “+ New Product“
Then enter the required information for your Vinyl product:
- Select the catalog you want to add the product to.
- Enter a style code.
- Enter an item description.
- Add colors by typing in the color and then clicking on the +.
- Enter the various sizes, S for small. M for medium etc, click on the + to add them.
- Select the “Product category”.
- Click “Save“.
If this is a product that you purchase from a supplier then you can enter the cost values by:
- Clicking on the “3 Dot” menu of the product you just added.
- Then selecting ‘Edit Cost‘.
On the ‘Edit Cost’ screen:
- Select at least one color.
- Select at least one size.
- Enter a minimum quantity. (Always start at 0. If your supplier does not give discounts for purchasing at higher quantity breaks then just add one row.)
- Enter a cost amount.
- Click ‘Add Row’ to add that quantity break. (Repeat for each size / color variant applicable)
- Save when you are done.
