How To Adjust Tier Pricing On An Order
Teesom allows you to configure automatic adjustments to the Quotation total based on whether your customer wants the job completed within the “Standard” time-frame, or if they need it to be “Rush” or “Express”. Once the quote has been completed and sent, it is possible to adjust the Pricing Tier.
In this article we will go through the steps to adjust the pricing tier on a Quotation.
Once your customer confirms a Quotation, they also confirm the Pricing Tier option, ie: whether they want a "Rush" order or a "Standard" time-frame. Because of this, once the Quotation has been converted to a WIP/Invoice, the pricing tier can no longer be changed.
Adjust The Pricing Tier on a Quote
Go to the invoice and click on the hamburger menu then select “Re-Order“, this will create a duplicate order as a quote
The order will open in a new tab and it will now be a quote.
- Click on “Edit Tier Settings” at the very bottom of the Quote screen,
- Change the settings to your needs,
- Click on “Save“.
If this is a new Quote, you will send it to your Customer to be confirmed as usual.
If it was a WIP/Invoice and you duplicated it to a new quote, you can either send the new quote to your customer, or you can simply convert it to an invoice yourself:
- From the Hamburger menu, select ‘Convert to Invoice’,
- Select the pricing tier you want to use,
- Click on “Pay“(This means you will log a new payment on the new order, if you don’t want to do this check the “Take Payment Later” box and then click on “Pay“)
