Taking a manual payment

How to take a payment manually

There are two main ways to take payments in Teesom. The first being that your customer completes the payment process online using one of the available integrated payment methods. The second being that your customer has paid using another method, such as cash or EFT, and you need to manually reflect that payment on Teesom.

Here’s how to manually log the payment. On the order go to the hamburger menu then select “Take Payment“.

On the payment screen:

  • Select the payment method.
  • Enter the amount.
  • Reference for the payment.
  • Check the box to notify your customer about the payment.
  • Click on “Pay

You can now see that your order has been paid.

If you click on the ‘$’ dropdown, you can now view the payment you just logged. If you click on the 3 dots menu icon you can now ‘Unapply’ or ‘Void’ the payment.

Taking payment for Multiple Orders from a Customer

If you have a customer with multiple open / unpaid orders you can take payment for them simultaneously:

  1. Go to the “Main Menu” -> “Customers

On the “Customers” screen open the relevant customer account then:

  1. Check the boxes of the orders you want to pay.
  2. Click on the “Action” dropdown.
  3. Select “Pay Selected“.
