In this article we will take you through all the steps to set up your square payment gateway, as well as how to configure your payment defaults.
Make sure that you have completed your Square account setup, including the verification, and that you have linked your bank account before integrating with Teesom.
Connect To Square
The first step to set up your square gateway is to connect it:
Go to the “”Main Menu”
Select “Company Settings“
On the “Company Setup” screen:
Click on “Payments“
Select “Payment Gateway Setup“
Under “Payment Gateway Setup”:
Select “Square“
Click on “Connect”
Square’s website will open in a new tab, sign into your account and authorize Teesom.
The “Capabilities” list at the bottom shows you everything you are capable of doing with square.
NOTE: We highly recommend that you should already be logged into Square in the same browser before you click on "Connect" here.
After successfully connecting to square the yellow “Connect” button will turn into a green “Disconnect” button.
Now that you have connected your payment gateway you can now set it as the default gateway Teesom will use:
Under “Payments and Refunds Preferences”
Select the connected gateway to use as the default.
