A representative from Paystri will assist you with the initial setup at their end.
- Remember to request “ACH” Payments to be enabled on your account, if needed.
- Remember to ask the Paystri Representative about “automatic surcharging” vs “cash discount”.
Connect Teesom to Paystri
Once your Paystri account is ready you can now connect to it from Teesom.
Navigate to the “Company Setup” page from the Main Menu:
On the Company Setup screen:
- Select “Payments”
- Expand “Payment Gateway Setup”
- Click on “Paystri”
- Click on “Setup“
In the popup window you will enter your Merchant ID, Username and Password.
These can all be obtained in your Paystri / Cardpointe Account Dashboard
Payment Methods
Also on the Company Setup page, on the “Payments” tab, expand “Payment Methods”.
Teesom will automatically provision and connect 2 payment methods:
- Paystri
- Paystri – ACH
Use this to notify your customer about the credit card processing fee ("surcharge").

Automatic Surcharge
You should ask Paystri about either enabling or disabling the "Automatic Surcharge" option in your account.
When you sign up for an account with Paystri they provide an option of adding an automatic surcharge to the payment.
The way this works is as follows:
Let’s say you send your customer an invoice for $100.
Paystri will automatically add a surcharge of 3% to the payment. So when your customer goes to pay the invoice, they will pay $103.

Then Under “Payments and Refunds Preferences” enable “Online Payments”.
