Setup Paystri Payment Integration

Introduction

Paystri Payments integration will include the ability to pay with card online, through a connected card-swipe device and by e-Cheque (ACH).

Operations that will be supported:

  • Processing transactions.
  • Voiding Transactions.
  • Refunds.

In this article we will take you through connecting Teesom to your Paystri account for payment processing.

Sign Up With Paystri

Go to Teesom’s page on Paystri’s website and sign up: insights.paystri.com/teesom

A representative from Paystri will assist you with the initial setup at their end.

  • Remember to request “ACH” Payments to be enabled on your account, if needed.
  • Remember to ask the Paystri Representative about “automatic surcharging” vs “cash discount”.
Connect Teesom to Paystri

Once your Paystri account is ready you can now connect to it from Teesom.

Navigate to the “Company Setup” page from the Main Menu:

On the Company Setup screen:

  1. Select “Payments”
  2. Expand “Payment Gateway Setup”
  3. Click on “Paystri”
  4. Click on “Setup

In the popup window you will enter your Merchant ID, Username and Password.

These can all be obtained in your Paystri / Cardpointe Account Dashboard

Payment Methods

Also on the Company Setup page, on the “Payments” tab, expand “Payment Methods”.

Teesom will automatically provision and connect 2 payment methods:

  •  Paystri
  •  Paystri – ACH
Automatic Surcharge

When you sign up for an account with Paystri they provide an option of adding an automatic surcharge to the payment.

The way this works is as follows:

Let’s say you send your customer an invoice for $100.

Paystri will automatically add a surcharge of 3% to the payment. So when your customer goes to pay the invoice, they will pay $103.
