Notifications

There are two different types of notifications in Teesom:

  • Internal Notifications:
  • External Notifications:

In this article we will explain the difference between the two different types of notifications.

Internal Notifications

Internal notifications, are notifications that happen within Teesom for example when a User changes the status on an invoice, the Sales rep on that invoice will be notified (unless they do it themselves) or when a quote is converted to an invoice:

Internal Notification Configuration Options

You can configure the Internal Notifications from the User Edit screen:

External Notifications

External notifications, are notifications that take place outside of Teesom, for example when you pay a customer, so when you take a payment manually in Teesom and you choose to notify the customer, that is considered an “External” notification: To find out more about “External” notifications see this article

External Notification Configuration Options

In Teesom you have the option to send out a notification to your customer.

Below are some examples of “External Notification” configuration options.
